Then he informed that the wisdom in the revelation of the Qur'an in stages is as Allah, the Most High, said: ﴿And a Qur'an﴾; meaning: and We detailed; or We revealed; a Qur'an; ﴿We distinguished it﴾; meaning: We revealed it in stages at lengthy times; and We distinguished it with the truth from every falsehood; and with the miraculous nature from every speech; ﴿So that you may recite it to the people﴾; meaning: generally to all whom you can reach of them; for you are sent to all of them.

And when they were - due to their state - in the utmost state of turmoil; not being refined except over long periods; and with great remedy; he said - indicating that -: ﴿Gradually﴾; meaning: with deliberation; and carefulness; by reading each part at its time in which We revealed it; over a period of twenty-three years; ﴿And We revealed it﴾; from Us; with what We have of greatness; ﴿In stages﴾; some of it following some; differentiated according to the events; because it is more precise in its explanation; and more helpful for understanding; due to the length of contemplation on what was revealed from its parts during the time between the parts; for the abundance of what it contains of meanings; and the multitude of what it encompasses of wisdom; and that is also closer to memorization; and a greater affirmation for the heart; and more enlightening for the chest; for the news of the beloved, when it is continuous, the lover is every day in a celebration; with new joy; so We did this with you for what has preceded that Allah is with those who are conscious of Him; and those who are doers of good;
