Commentary
Then it was conveyed that what the anger necessitates will remain upon them on that day. So He, the Exalted, said - adding to what follows 'Then': ﴿And when they see﴾. And He made evident the place of the implicit; in a general manner. So He, the Exalted, said: ﴿Those who have wronged﴾. Thus, He expressed with the description that necessitates punishment; ﴿the punishment﴾; after the situation; and the testimony of the witnesses; and the reward of the condition is omitted; due to the indication of what is associated with the action; its estimation is: 'He will be clad with them'. ﴿So it will not be lightened﴾; meaning: there will be a type of alleviation; nor by any of the creation; ﴿from them﴾; anything of it; ﴿nor will they be given respite﴾; in delay; nor for a moment; in any way; based on any of the estimations; from anyone at all.
