Commentary
And when it was made clear that there is no way to avoid that; due to the prior promise of it from the All-Powerful; He clarified His wisdom with a clear matter; that it is not permissible to neglect it in any way; and that it is not rational for any wise person that someone - whether a king or someone below him - commands his servants to do something and then neglects them without asking them; especially if they differ; and especially if their disagreement leads to severance and fighting; so how about if he were a ruler?! So how about if he were wise?! So how about if He is the Most Wise of rulers?! He said - commenting on what is indicated by "Indeed" -: ﴿To clarify﴾; meaning: He did it; and He promised it; so He will send them to clarify ﴿to them﴾; meaning: to the people; ﴿that in which they differ﴾; meaning: their disagreement exists ﴿in it﴾; regarding resurrection; and others; and He will reward each one for what he has done; because that is part of justice; which is His action; ﴿And to know those who disbelieved﴾; meaning: they were ignorant of the signs indicating Him; as if they have concealed them; because they are not unknown due to their clarity; ﴿that they were﴾; meaning: by nature; and disposition; ﴿liars﴾; meaning: deeply rooted in lying; in their denial of resurrection; and their claim that they are the exclusive ones to attain success; with the knowledge of certainty; and the eye of certainty; and the truth of certainty.
