And when this praise was a precursor to detailing that; it was said: ﴿Gardens of Eternity﴾; meaning: a place of permanence; with no departure in it; ﴿They will enter it﴾; while it is; ﴿Rivers flow beneath it﴾; meaning: from beneath its chambers; ﴿the rivers﴾; then it was answered to one who seemed to ask about what is in it from (p-148)fruits and others; with His saying (the Exalted): ﴿For them in it﴾; meaning: specifically; not in anything else; without anything being brought to them from elsewhere; ﴿What they desire﴾; then He increased in encouragement with His saying: ﴿Thus﴾; meaning: like this great reward; ﴿Allah rewards﴾; meaning: He who has all perfection; ﴿the righteous﴾; meaning: those firmly established in the attribute of righteousness;
