Then he followed that with his saying: ﴿And We gave them﴾; meaning: by Our greatness; through their messenger Salih - blessings and peace be upon him - ﴿Our signs﴾; meaning: all of them; by giving the she-camel; and providing water for her; and milking her; and her drinking; because all possible things are equal in relation to His power; so whoever denies one of them has denied all of them; ﴿So they were﴾; meaning: a being that is like nature; ﴿about it﴾; meaning: all the signs specifically; not about the adornment of this world that leads to falsehood; ﴿Turning away﴾; meaning: firmly established in turning away; they did not believe in them; turning to His saying (the Exalted): ﴿And if We opened for them a door from the heaven﴾ [Al-Hijr: 14]; the two verses; and an example for him; a response to the section on the beginning;
