So when what was intended to be informed about their conversation with Ibrahim - blessings and peace be upon him - was completed, he informed about their matter with Lut - blessings and peace be upon him -; he said: ﴿So when﴾; with the letter 'fa' indicating the quick arrival to him; and it is as if his denial of them did not intensify except after entering his house; either out of fear for them; and they do not fear; or other than that from conditions that do not resemble the conditions of humans; for this reason he said: ﴿The people of Lut came﴾; meaning: to his house; ﴿the messengers﴾; meaning: to destroy his people;
