And when that was - perhaps - a cause for being deceived which leads to insistence; Allah, the Most High, said: ﴿And that My punishment is﴾; meaning: alone; ﴿the painful punishment﴾; meaning: complete in causing pain; it is known that the first is for whoever seeks forgiveness; and the second is for whoever insists; and from that it is understood that the righteous only entered Paradise by His pardon; and the misguided were only punished by His justice; so it is 'a wrapping and an unwrapping' that is confused; compared to what is more eloquent.
