'Peace be upon you.' And peace is the greeting of honor, free from any harmful element. And the cause of this peace is patience, as He said: 'Because of your patience.' That is, by your patience, and what you have been patient for, and what you have been patient against. This indicates that patience is the foundation of all religion. And when this was completed, it resulted in His saying: 'So excellent is the final abode.' It is the dwelling in a state of stability, prepared with the buildings that are needed and the facilities that are beneficial. And the final abode is the end that results from the beginning, whether it is good or evil.
