And when what He, the Most High, intended by explaining the description [as 'the clear'] was completed, He replaced His saying 'the best of stories' with His saying: ﴿When﴾ meaning: We narrate to you the news of when, meaning the news of Yusuf when ﴿Yusuf said﴾ meaning the son of Yaqub, Israel, may blessings and peace be upon them both, ﴿to his father﴾ and he clarified his respect by saying - indicating with the tool of distance that his father is of very high status, and that the coming words have a great impact, so he should be concerned with listening to them and responding to them, and other matters of his: ﴿O my father﴾. The 'ta' is for femininity because it is paused upon by some readers with the 'ha', and its kasrah by those who broke it indicates the 'ya' of the genitive which was compensated for by the 'ta' of femininity. The gathering of the kasrah with it is like its gathering with the 'ya', and its opening by those who opened it is a compensation for the standing 'alif' in place of the 'ya' of the genitive.

And when he was small, and the dream was great and serious, the situation required emphasis, so he said: ﴿Indeed, I saw﴾ meaning: in my dream, for it is from the visions which are visions in sleep. He distinguished between the state of sleep and wakefulness in that with the 'alif' of femininity ﴿eleven stars﴾ meaning: a large, very visible, shining star, and in the absence of repeating this story in the Qur'an is a refutation of those who said: The stories of the prophets, may blessings and peace be upon them, were repeated to establish their eloquence with the repetition of the context. And in the repetition of their stories is a refutation of those who said: This was not repeated so that its eloquence would not be fabricated. It is as if the absence of its repetition is because the objectives of the surahs did not require that - and Allah knows best.

And when the two luminous bodies have two names that are specific to them which are of utmost fame, He said, magnifying them: ﴿and the sun and the moon﴾. And when the soul longed for the state in which it saw them, it was as if it was said: In what state? And the vision was the inner sight which is the inner perception. So the expression by it was to indicate the strangeness of this matter, and He increased in the indication of that by repeating the action, and He attached it to the pronoun of the rational beings so that its indication would be on both the astonishing matter of the vision and the action of the one who does not comprehend the action of the rational beings from two aspects, so it was said: ﴿I saw them for me﴾ meaning: specifically ﴿prostrating﴾ [they were made to act like the rational beings in the action of the rational beings].
