Commentary

Then he clarified its occurrence with His enemies after saving His allies. He said, magnifying the taking by mentioning the action: ﴿And the ones who wronged were struck by the cry﴾. He indicated the greatness of this cry by omitting the sign of femininity. He caused his saying: ﴿So they became in their homes, fallen down﴾ to mean: fallen on their faces. It was said: kneeling on their knees, dead with no movement in them. The secret of the expression with the homes along with the cry and the home with the shaking in Al-A'raf was previously mentioned. Hud was specified with what was mentioned in it because its purpose is a greater consideration of the detail. Each of the homes and the cry is closer to that.
