And when this story was completed in the manner that fully clarifies the effort of Noah, peace be upon him, in delivering the warning without regard to acceptance or rejection, and it was, with that, indicative of complete knowledge and insight into details that cannot be attained except from the King, the All-Knowing, it is clearer in removing the ambiguity about his matter, blessings and peace be upon him, than the sun. Allah, the Most High, said, alerting to that: "That is" meaning: these marvelous news of strange affairs, far removed from the reach of oppositions, of high ranks from the hand of the one who conveys. "Of the news of the unseen" meaning: His great tidings. Then He indicated that He continues to renew for him similar things by His present tense in His saying: "We reveal it to you." It is as if it was said: Some of the People of the Book know some of its details, so He indicated that all of that is unseen, and by what they know, it is a relative unseen by His saying: "What you did not know about it" meaning: in this detail "you." And when its concealment from his people was a sign of its concealment from him, because he did not mix with others, He said: "Nor your people" meaning: even if they were a people of strength in standing against what they attempt and a large number, and among them are those who write and mix with the scholars.

And when the time of its concealment from them - even if it was general for them - was some of the past time, He introduced the conjunction and said: "Before this" meaning: from My revelation to you, so that the imagination might then suggest that you learned it from one of them, even if many of the People of the Book know much of it, as you have seen from the text of the Torah. Thus, it became clear that there is no aim for your people except obstinacy. "So be patient" upon that and do not cease from the warning, for the outcome will be for you as it was for Noah due to his piety. "Indeed, the outcome" meaning: the end of affairs of victory, support, and happiness "is for the righteous" meaning: those deeply rooted in the fear of Allah at all times. And the story has included the explanation of what is required by the state of the people of goodness and faith and the people of evil and tyranny, from taking heed from the news about the two groups, to choose the state of these and to avoid the state of those due to the bad outcome in this world and the Hereafter.
