Commentary
And when He established by His saying: "All praise is due to Allah" that He is the One deserving of all praises, not for anything other than His essence, which possesses all perfections, He indicated that He also deserves it in terms of being a Lord, Owner, and Bestower. So He said: "Lord." And by His saying: "the worlds," He referred to the beginning of creation, as a reminder of the indications of the created things towards the Creator, and of the beginning towards the resurrection. Just as He began the Torah with that, for this reason Al-Harali said: "And 'praise' is the complete commendation that encompasses all actions and attributes, on the condition that all of them are from Allah, glorified and exalted is He, and that all of it is praise that is not affected by any blame. So when the duality of praise with blame diminishes, and it is known that the praise flows in all, it becomes deserving at that time for the name of praise to appear complete, defined by the word 'the,' which is a word indicating in what it is connected to its end and perfection. The end.
