Commentary
He gives the rights of his wealth and fears Allah, so he does not disobey Him. He affirms the good word:
It is faith. Or by the good religion: which is the religion of Islam, or by the good reward: which is Paradise. So We will ease him towards ease. We will prepare him for it like the ease of a horse for riding when it is saddled and bridled. From it is his saying, blessings and peace be upon him:
"Every person is facilitated for what he was created for." [Agreed upon from the hadith of Imran ibn Husayn, and from the hadith of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.] The meaning is: So We will be kind to him and guide him until obedience becomes the easiest of matters for him and the lightest of them. [Mawlid said: "The easing towards ease is the creation of kindness..." Ahmad said: "Let him not prolong his speech here about the people of the Sunnah, but let the truth shorten it, for you will see him interpreting the words or even neglecting them, because he carries what he cannot bear. And regarding his words in similar matters, the fear of the thief is remarkable."] From his saying: So whoever Allah intends to guide, He expands his chest for Islam.
