It is also possible that it refers to the support indicated by 'I will support you' except for the glad tidings, meaning a message for you of victory, like the tranquility for the Children of Israel, meaning that you sought help and humbled yourselves due to your weakness and humiliation, so the support by the angels was a glad tidings for you of victory, and a calming for you, and a strengthening of your hearts. And the victory is only from Allah, meaning do not consider victory to come from the angels, for the one who grants victory is Allah for you and for the angels. Or, and what is victory by the angels and others from the means except from Allah, and the one granted victory is the one whom Allah supports.
