Commentary
The immoral acts are what increases in its ugliness. It is said that they are what relates to the private parts. And the sin is general for every wrongdoing. It is said: drinking alcohol and oppression and arrogance. He mentioned it specifically as he said: 'And He forbids immorality and wrongdoing and oppression.' What has not been revealed with it is a proof, in a mocking manner, because it is not permissible to reveal a proof by associating others with Him. Mahmoud said: 'In this is mockery because it is not permissible to reveal a proof by associating others with Him.' Ahmad said: 'What is meant by the mockery is that the speech is in the manner of what has authority, but it has not been revealed, because He only negated the revelation of authority with it and did not deny that it has authority. The original speech was: 'And that you associate with Allah what has no authority, so it descends in a manner of: 'On a love that does not guide by its beacon.' And that you speak about Allah and that you fabricate lies against Him from the prohibitions and others.
