Commentary
The adornment of Allah is from clothing and all that one beautifies oneself with, and the good things from sustenance that are delightful from food and drink. The meaning of the question in 'who' is the denial of the prohibition of these things. It is said that when they entered into ihram, they prohibited the sheep and what comes from it of its meat, fat, and milk. Say: 'It is for those who believe in the worldly life, not exclusively for them, because the polytheists are partners in it. It is exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection; no one shares with them in it.' If you say: 'Why was it not said: it is for those who believe and for others?' I say: 'To indicate that it was created for those who believe primarily, and that the disbelievers are secondary to them,' as His saying: 'And whoever disbelieves, I will grant him enjoyment for a little, then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire.' And it is recited: 'exclusively' in the accusative as a state, and in the nominative as a news after news.
