Commentary
And who is more unjust than the one whom his Lord calls to Islam, which has in it the happiness of both worlds, through the tongue of His Prophet, yet he replaces his response to it with a fabrication of lies against Allah by saying, 'This is magic,' because magic is lies and deception. Talhah ibn Masrif read: 'and he is called,' meaning he is called. He called him and claimed him, similar to: he touched him and sought him. And from him: 'he claims,' meaning he calls, and that is Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
