'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful' With guidance and the religion of truth, with the religion of Islam, to manifest it and to elevate it above all religions, meaning: the various religions of the polytheists and the deniers among the People of the Book. And indeed, He has fulfilled that, for you do not see any religion except that Islam has superiority and dominance over it. It was said: It is at the descent of Jesus when there will remain no disbeliever on the face of the earth. It was said: It is His manifestation through proofs and signs. And in this verse is a confirmation of what was promised of victory and a reassurance for the believers that Allah, the Exalted, will grant them victory in the lands and will provide them with dominance over the regions that they will be able to attain, the opening of Mecca, and Allah is sufficient as a witness that what He has promised will come to pass. And from Al-Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him: He testified about Himself that He will manifest Your religion.
