And similarly, We have revealed to you. This refers to the meaning of the previous verse: that Allah, glorified and exalted is He, is the watcher over them, and you are not a watcher over them, but a warner for them. This meaning has been repeated by Allah in His Book in many places. The 'kaf' is the object of 'We have revealed.' And 'a clear Arabic Qur'an' is a state of the object, meaning We have revealed it to you, and it is a clear Arabic Qur'an, without ambiguity for you, so that you may understand what is said to you, and not exceed the limit of warning. It is also possible that this refers to the source of 'We have revealed,' meaning: and similarly, that clear and comprehensible revelation, We have revealed to you a clear Arabic Qur'an in your tongue to warn. It is said, 'I warned him of such and such.' The first is transitive, meaning: to warn the mother of the cities to the first object and the second, which is His saying: 'and to warn of the Day of Gathering' to the second object, the mother of the cities, the people of the mother of the cities, as His saying: 'And ask the town.' And those around it from the Arabs. It has been recited: 'to warn' with the pronoun and the verb for the Qur'an on the Day of Gathering, the Day of Resurrection, because the creatures are gathered therein. Allah, glorified and exalted is He, said: 'On the Day He gathers you for the Day of Gathering.' It is said: He gathers between the souls and the bodies. It is said: He gathers between every worker and his work. There is no doubt about it. An objection that has no place. It has been recited: 'a group and a group,' in both the nominative and accusative, so the nominative is: 'among them is a group, and among them is a group.' The pronoun refers to the gathered ones, because the meaning is: the Day of Gathering of the creatures. The accusative is in the state of them, meaning: separated, as His saying: 'And on the Day the Hour rises, that Day they will be separated.' If you say: How can they be gathered and separated at the same time? I say: They are gathered on that day, while being separated in the abodes of misery and bliss, just as people gather on Friday while being separated in two mosques. And if the gathering is intended: gathering them in the standing, then the separation means approaching their separation.
