We will show them Our signs in the horizons and in themselves. This means what Allah, the Exalted, has made easy for His Messenger, blessings and peace be upon him, and for the caliphs after him, and for the supporters of His religion in the horizons of this world and in the lands of the East and West in general, and specifically in the Arab region: from the conquests that were not made easy for anyone among the rulers of the earth before them, and from the triumph over tyrants and kings, and the dominance of their few over the many, and the empowerment of their weak over their strong. And He has made extraordinary matters occur through their hands, which are outside the norm and break the habits. The spreading of the call to Islam in the corners of the inhabited world, and the expansion of its state to its farthest reaches, and the study of history will reveal to you in the recorded books about the scenes of its people and their days: wonders that you will not see a battle of theirs except as a sign from the signs of Allah, which strengthens certainty, increases faith, and clarifies that the religion of Islam is the true religion from which only a stubborn person who deceives himself would deviate. And steadfastness and uprightness are the attributes of truth and honesty, just as turmoil and instability are the attributes of falsehood and lies. And falsehood has a wind that blows and then calms, and a state that appears and then diminishes. 'Your Lord' is in the position of the subject, indicating that He is sufficient. And 'He is, indeed, Witness over all things' is a substitute for it, meaning: 'Is it not enough for them that your Lord is a Witness over all things?' Its meaning is that this promise of showing the signs of Allah in the horizons and in themselves, they will see and witness it. They will then realize that the Quran is a revelation from the Knower of the Unseen, who is Witness over all things, meaning: He is aware and has authority over both the unseen and the witnessed. This is sufficient evidence for them that it is true and that it is from Him. If it were not so, it would not have had this strength, nor would its bearers have achieved this victory. And it was read: 'in doubt', with a damma, which means uncertainty, 'the All-Encompassing Knower of things and their details, their outward and inward aspects, so nothing is hidden from Him.' And He will recompense them for their disbelief and their doubt in meeting their Lord. From the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him: 'Whoever recites Surah As-Sajdah, Allah will grant him ten good deeds for every letter.'
