It is recorded about those who argue against the signs of Allah with disbelief: the intended meaning is arguing with falsehood, by attacking it, and aiming to refute the truth and extinguish the light of Allah. Then he set forth as an example for their denial, enmity towards the messengers, and arguing with falsehood, and what has been stored for them of a bad end: what happened to similar nations, and how they were seized by His punishment and what He brought upon them of His vengeance. And it is read: 'So let not what deceives you.'
