And Allah judges with truth. This means that the One who has these attributes and conditions does not judge except with truth and justice. He is free from oppression. And your deities do not judge anything. This is a mockery of them, because what cannot be described by ability cannot be said to judge or not to judge. Indeed, Allah is the Hearing, the Seeing. This confirms His saying: He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal. And it is a warning to them that He hears what they say and sees what they do, and that He will punish them for it. And it is a reference to what they invoke besides Allah, and that they do not hear or see. It has been recited: 'they invoke,' with the letter 'taa' and with the letter 'yaa'.
