Commentary
When it was established that the dominion belongs to Allah alone on that day, he enumerated the results of that. They are that every soul will be recompensed for what it earned and that oppression is secure, for Allah is not unjust to the servants. And that the reckoning does not delay, for Allah is not preoccupied by one reckoning from another. He will hold all of creation accountable at once, and He is the swiftest of accountants. And from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him: When He begins their reckoning, the people of Paradise will not say except in it, nor the people of Hell except in it.
