It is narrated that they deny and argue, so their neighbors, families, and tribes bear witness against them. They swear that they were not polytheists. At that time, their mouths are sealed, and their hands and feet speak. In the hadith: "Narrated by Muslim and an-Nasa'i through the chain of al-Sha'bi from Anas, and al-Hakim erred in it and corrected it," "The servant will say on the Day of Resurrection: I do not accept a witness against me except from myself. Then his mouth will be sealed, and it will be said to his limbs: Speak, and they will speak of his deeds. Then he will be allowed to speak and will say: Woe to you and destruction! About you I used to argue." The saying "I used to argue" means I used to debate. And it has been read: their mouths are sealed, and their hands speak. And it has been read: And our hands will speak and bear witness, with the letter 'lam' for purpose and the accusative meaning: And therefore their mouths are sealed. And it has been read: And our hands will speak and bear witness, with the letter 'lam' for command and the jussive indicating that Allah commands the limbs to speak and bear witness.
