He has made everything good in its goodness. This is because there is nothing He has created except that it is arranged according to what wisdom necessitated and what benefit required. Thus, all creatures are good, even if they differ in goodness and better goodness. As He said, 'Indeed, We have created man in the best stature.' It is said that He knows how to create him from His saying: 'The value of a person is what he does well.' Its reality is that he knows him with a good knowledge, with precision and mastery. And it is read: 'He created him' as an alternative, meaning: 'He has made good,' for He has created everything. And 'His creation' is in description, meaning: 'Everything He created, He has made good.' The offspring is called 'nassal' because it separates from him, meaning: it detaches from him and comes out from his loins. And similar to this is their saying for the child: 'saleel' and 'najl.' And He made him upright, as His saying: 'in the best stature.' And by adding the spirit to His essence, it indicates that it is a wondrous creation, the nature of which none knows except Him, as His saying: 'And they ask you about the spirit...' It is as if He said: 'And He breathed into him from that which He alone possesses and knows.'
