Say: Allah has spoken the truth. This is an implication of their lying, as His saying: "That is what We recompensed them for their transgression, and indeed We are truthful." It is established that Allah is truthful in what He has revealed, and you are the liars. So follow the religion of Ibrahim, inclining towards truth. This is the religion of Islam, which Muhammad and those who believe with him are upon, so that you may be freed from the Judaism that has entangled you in the corruption of your religion and your worldly affairs. It has compelled you to distort the Book of Allah to suit your purposes and has obligated you to prohibit the good things that Allah has made lawful for Ibrahim and those who followed him.
