These are the verses of Allah concerning the promise and the warning. We recite them to you mixed with truth and justice, according to the recompense of the good-doer and the wrongdoer based on what they deserve. And Allah does not intend injustice, so He does not take anyone without a crime, nor does He increase the punishment of a wrongdoer, or the reward of a good-doer. And He negated injustice and said to the worlds, meaning that He does not intend any injustice towards any of His creation. So glorified is He who is forbearing towards those who attribute to Him the desire for evil deeds. [He means by this the people of the Sunnah who say: What Allah wills happens, and what He does not will does not happen, as agreed upon by the predecessors.]
