Commentary
He is anticipating the disliked thing, which is benefiting from it, or the news and what is said about it. The description of the Israeli is that he is wicked, because he was the cause of the killing of a man while he was fighting another. And it was recited: 'yabṭish' with a dammah. And the one who is an enemy to both of them is the Copt, because he is not on their religion, and because the Copts were enemies of the Children of Israel. And the tyrant:
The one who does what he wants of striking and killing unjustly, not considering the consequences nor repelling with what is better:
And it was said: the arrogant one who does not humble himself to the command of Allah. And when he said this, he spread the news about Moses, and the talk circulated in the city and reached Pharaoh, and they plotted to kill him.
