91I am but ordered to worship the Lord of this city, which is sanctified by Him. And to Him belongs every thing, and I am ordered to be one of the Muslims (who submit themselves to Allah), 92and to recite the Qur’ān; so whoever takes the right path, takes it for his own benefit. As for the one who goes astray, say (to him), “I am only one of the warners.” 93And say, “Praise belongs to Allah. He will show you His signs, then you will recognize them.” And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.

And in that is an indication that a king who possesses such a town of great status has possessed it and everything belongs to it. Al-Mahmood said: "The intended town is Mecca, and the addition of the name of Allah, the Exalted, to it is for its honor and the mention of its prohibition, for it is its most specific description and he attributed it to His essence to emphasize its honor. Then he said: 'And to Him belongs everything,' thus making the entry of everything under His Lordship and dominion like that which follows the entry of this honored town. And in that is an indication that a king has possessed this honored town and everything belongs to it, for indeed, it is of great status." Al-Ahmad said: And under His saying 'And to Him belongs everything' is another benefit besides that, which is that when He added His name to the specific town for its honor, He followed that by adding everything else to His dominion, cutting off the assumption of the exclusivity of His dominion to the mentioned town, and indicating that the first addition was intended for honor, not because it is solely the dominion of Allah, the Exalted, and Allah knows best. O Allah, bless us in our dwelling there, and keep us safe from the evil of every evil doer, and do not transfer us from the vicinity of Your House except to the abode of Your mercy. And it was read: 'which He has prohibited.' And recite to them this Quran: from Abu, and 'And recite': from Ibn Mas'ud. So whoever is guided by following Me in what I am addressing regarding the oneness of Allah and the negation of partners with Him, and entering into the Hanif faith, and following what has been revealed to Me from the revelation, then the benefit of his guidance returns to him, not to Me. And whoever goes astray and does not follow Me, then there is no burden upon Me, and I am only a warner. And upon the Messenger is only the conveying. Then he commanded him to praise Allah for what He has granted him of the blessing of Prophethood, which has no equal, and to threaten his enemies with what Allah will show them of His signs that will compel them to knowledge and acknowledgment that they are the signs of Allah. And that is when knowledge will not benefit them, meaning in the Hereafter. From Al-Hasan and Al-Kalbi: the smoke, and the splitting of the moon. And what has befallen them of the punishments of Allah in this world. And it was said: It is like His saying: 'We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves.' And every deed they do, Allah is All-Knowing of it, not unaware of it, for indeed, forgetfulness and negligence do not befit the Knower of the essence. Al-Mahmood said: 'For the Knower of the essence does not befit Him forgetfulness.' Al-Ahmad said: He has previously denied the attribute of knowledge, and implied that negating it is included in the glorification of Allah, for he makes the impossibility of forgetfulness upon Him conditional upon His being the Knower of the essence, not by knowledge. The truth is that the impossibility of forgetfulness upon Him, for His knowledge does not escape Him, not even the weight of an atom in the heavens or in the earth, rather it is an eternal, ancient knowledge that is general in relation to all necessary, possible, and impossible matters, and His glorification does not depend on the negation of His attributes, perfection, and majesty. Exalted is Allah above what the wrongdoers say, greatly exalted. And it was read: 'you do.'

From the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him: "Whoever recites Ta-Sin-Sin (Tā-Sīn) of Solomon will have ten good deeds for each person who believed in Solomon and each person who denied him, as well as for Hud, Shuaib, Salih, and Ibrahim.
