Commentary
Between them is between those who believe in the Qur'an and those who disbelieve in it. If you say: What is the meaning of 'it is judged by His judgment'? And it is not said: Zayd is struck by his striking and is prevented by his preventing? I say: Its meaning is by what He judges, and that is His justice, because judgment is only made by justice, so what is judged is called a judgment. Or he meant by His wisdom - and this is indicated by the reading of those who read 'by His judgment' - a collection of wisdom. And He is the Mighty, so His decree is not rejected, the All-Knowing of whom it is judged for and whom it is judged against, or the Mighty in His vengeance against the wrongdoers, the All-Knowing in separating between them and the rightful.
