He named the thing that is absent and hidden: ghaybah and khafiyah. The 'taa' in both of them is like its position in al-‘afiyah and al-‘aaqibah. Their counterparts are: an-nateehah, ar-ramiyah, and adh-dhabihah: in that they are names and not attributes. It is permissible for them to be attributes, and their 'taa' is for emphasis, like ar-rawiyah in their saying: Woe to the poet from the narration of evil, as if he said: And there is nothing that is greatly absent and hidden except that Allah has knowledge of it, encompassed it, and established it in the clear tablet: al-lawh al-mubeen, which is evident and clear to those who look into it from the angels.
