And he said 'dead' because the town is in the meaning of the land in His saying: 'So We led him to a dead land,' and it does not follow the action like 'fa'ul,' 'fa'ul,' and 'fa'il.' And it was read: 'We will give him to drink' with the opening. And 'saqa' and 'asqa' are two dialects. It was said: 'Asqāh' means He made for him a watering. 'Al-anāsi' is the plural of 'insī' or 'insān.' And similar to it is 'ẓarābī' in 'ẓurbān,' by changing the 'n' to a 'y,' and the origin is 'anāsin' and 'ẓarābīn.'
