The meaning of 'to Allah and His Messenger' is to the Messenger of Allah, like saying: I admired Zayd and his generosity, meaning: the generosity of Zayd.
And from it is his saying:
'We hastened before the quails and delayed them' [[And a watering place from the deserts, its middle ... We hastened before the quails and delayed them
In the shade of the scorching sun, it is abundant.
The watering place is the valley and the watercourse. The deserts are the arid lands, the plural of fayfa. It appears that 'its middle' is an adjective of the watering place, which is genitive with the omitted preposition. The 'h' is for pause, and if you made it a substitute for part of it and the 'h' is a pronoun for the watering place, it would necessitate the genitive of the definite noun with the preposition, while it is possible to avoid it except for those who consider the pronoun of the indefinite noun as indefinite, thus there is no objection. It is narrated: from the plain in its middle. The plain is one of the vast lands, meaning: a desolate area.
And the narration: 'We hastened' with emphasis, meaning we made it early in the time of darkness, which is the darkness of dawn, or we brought it in it. The delay from the quails refers to the preceding ones that are ahead of others, the plural of farit, like rak'a and rak'i. It is specified because they are the fastest birds to leave their nests.
And the scorching sun: the rays of the sun seen in the intensity of the heat, meaning it is moving. The fire ignited, the heat intensified, and the male ostrich is swift and has a rustling sound, and the matter is mixed. 'Scorching' is a term of exaggeration from him. And the thing that is abundant is lasting and continuous, so its abundance is the lasting and plentiful of it. The meaning is that he begins the journey before the preceding ones of the quails and continues on it with the intensity of the heat in the shade of the rays of the sun, and he is only shaded by it if he has a shade, and this is an exaggeration in negation. It is possible that he has become accustomed to it, so it has become for him like shade.
And it is possible that the meaning is: under his protection and cover, and his status is similar to shade.]
He meant: before the delay of the quails. It is narrated that it was revealed concerning Bishr the hypocrite and his Jewish opponent when they disputed over land, so the Jew was dragging him to the Messenger of Allah, and the hypocrite was dragging him to Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf and saying: Muhammad is unjust to us. It is narrated that Al-Mughira ibn Wa'il had a dispute with Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding water and land, so Al-Mughira said: As for Muhammad, I will not go to him nor will I refer to him, for he dislikes me and I fear that he will be unjust to me. 'To him' is a connection that they come to, because 'came' and 'arrived' have both come as transitive with 'to,' or it connects with 'submissive' because it is in the meaning of hastening in obedience. This is better for the precedence of its connection and its indication of exclusivity. The meaning is that they, knowing that there is nothing with you except the bitter truth and pure justice, avoid referring to you when the truth burdens them, lest you take it from their eyes with your judgment against their opponents. And if a right is established for them over an opponent, they hasten to you and are not satisfied except with your judgment, so that you may take for them what is due to them from the opponent's liability [[The saying 'what is due to them from the opponent's liability' in the dictionaries: 'what is due to me from the right is such and such': if it is established and confirmed.
