That is, dislike for you to return or in returning, from your saying: I advised so-and-so in such-and-such, so he left it. And He has kept them as long as they are alive and accountable. And if you are believers in it, it is a provocation for them to take heed, and a reminder of what necessitates leaving the return, which is their being characterized by faith that prevents them from every reprehensible act. And Allah makes clear to you the signs of His knowledge and wisdom by that which He reveals to you of the laws, and teaches you of the beautiful manners, and advises you with the healing admonitions. And Allah is All-Knowing of everything, acting in what He does by the motives of wisdom.
