If you say: The saying of the people of Hud was mentioned in his response in Surah Al-A'raf and Surah Hud without a conjunction: The leaders who disbelieved from his people said, 'Indeed, we see you in foolishness.' They said, 'O Hud, you have not brought us a clear proof.' And here it is with a conjunction. So what is the difference between them? I say: The one without a conjunction is on the assumption of a question from a questioner who said: What did his people say? It was said to him: They said such and such. As for the one with the conjunction, it is an addition of what they said to what he said. Its meaning is that this truth and this falsehood have come together in obtaining, and there is a great difference between them in the meeting of the Hereafter compared to the meeting that involves reckoning, reward, and punishment, like saying: O how wonderful is the proximity to Mecca: meaning the proximity to Allah in Mecca.

The pronoun is omitted, and the meaning is: from your drink, or it was omitted from it due to the indication of what preceded it. It is then applicable in the consequence of the condition, and an answer for those who spoke to them from their people, meaning: You will lose your minds and be at a loss in your opinions.
