He addressed the two, and directed the call to one of them, which is Musa, because he is the origin in prophethood, and Harun is his minister and follower. It is possible that his wickedness and debauchery may lead him to summon the words of Musa rather than those of his brother, due to what is known of the eloquence of Harun and the difficulty in the speech of Musa. This is indicated by his saying: "Am I better than this one who is humiliated and hardly speaks clearly?" The creation is the first object of giving, meaning: He gave His creation everything they need and benefit from. Or it is the second, meaning: He gave everything its form and shape that corresponds to the benefit assigned to it, just as He gave the eye the form that corresponds to sight, and the ear the shape that matches listening, and likewise the nose, hand, foot, and tongue: each one of them corresponds to the benefit it is associated with, without being a substitute for it. Or He gave every animal its counterpart in creation and form, as He made the horse and the mare, the camel and the she-camel, and the man and the woman, so He did not pair anything with a different gender or contrary to its creation. And it is recited: "His creation," as an attribute of the added or the added to, meaning: everything created by Allah is not devoid of His giving and grace. Then He guided, meaning: He made known how to benefit from what He has given and how to reach it. How excellent is this answer; how concise and comprehensive it is, and how clear it is for one who reflects and looks with the eye of fairness and seeks the truth.
