It is said that the thing is innovative, so you say: the man is [UNTRANSLATED-LATIN:baza'a] him, as you say: he is [UNTRANSLATED-LATIN:bazi'a]. And the Innovator of the heavens is from the addition of the descriptive noun to its doer, meaning He is the Innovator of His heavens and His earth. It is said that 'badi' means the Creator, just as 'the Hearing' in the saying of Amr: 'Is it from the fragrant one that the Hearing calls?' meaning the one who makes heard. And there is a consideration in it. 'Be, and it is' is from the complete past, meaning He creates and it happens. This is a metaphor in speech and representation, and there is no saying then, just as there is no saying in His words: 'When the she-camels said to the belly,
