Commentary
Clear signs with well-structured words, summarized meanings, and clarified intentions: either definitive or ambiguous, followed by the clarification with the definitive. Or by the Messenger's clarification in words or actions. Or evident miracles with which He challenged, and they were unable to oppose them. Or arguments and proofs. The point is that it should be a confirming state, as His saying, 'And He is the Truth, confirming,' because the verses of Allah can only be clear and arguments for those who have believed. It is possible that they speak to the believers about this and confront them with it, and that they express it for their sake and in their meaning, as His saying, 'And those who disbelieved said to those who believed,
