The lasting good deeds are the acts of goodness whose fruits remain for a person, while all that his soul aspires to of worldly gains perishes. It is said that they are the five prayers. It is also said: 'Subhanallah' (Glorified is Allah), 'Alhamdulillah' (All praise is for Allah), 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no deity but Allah), and 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest).
