Commentary
And We send down [UNTRANSLATED-LATIN:qur'an] with both lightening and intensifying from the [UNTRANSLATED-LATIN:qur'an], 'from' is for clarification, as His saying: 'from the idols.'
Or for partitive, meaning: everything that has been sent down from the [UNTRANSLATED-LATIN:qur'an] is a healing for the believers. They increase in faith through it, and they rectify their religion with it. Its position among them is like that of healing for the sick. And from the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him: 'Whoever does not seek healing through the [UNTRANSLATED-LATIN:qur'an], Allah has not healed him.' [It was narrated by Al-Thalabi through the route of Ahmad ibn Al-Harith Al-Ghassani. Sakina bint Al-Ja'd said: I heard Rija' Al-Ghanawi say: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him, mentioned it.] And the disbelievers do not increase through it except in loss, meaning a decrease due to their denial of it and their disbelief, as His saying: 'So it increased them in impurity to their impurity.'
