وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ٦٧ ﴿67 قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ ٦٨ ﴿68 وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ ٦٩ ﴿69 قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٧٠ ﴿70 قَالَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ ٧١ ﴿71 لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ ٧٢ ﴿72 فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ ٧٣ ﴿73 فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ٧٤ ﴿74 إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ ٧٥ ﴿75 وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٖ مُّقِيمٍ ٧٦ ﴿76 إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٧٧ ﴿77
67And the people of the city came rejoicing. 68He (LūT) said, “They are my guests; so do not put me to shame, 69and fear Allah and do not disgrace me.” 70They said, “Had we not forbidden you from (being the guardian of) the whole world?” 71He said, “These are my daughters, if you are to do something.” 72By your life, (O prophet) they were wandering blindly in their intoxication (misguidance). 73So, they were seized by the Cry at sunrise. 74Then, We turned it (the city) upside down and rained down upon them stones of baked clay. 75Surely, in that there are signs for those who read signs. 76Surely, it (their city) is located on the straight road. 77Surely, in it there is a sign for the believers.
