Commentary
Whoever takes in the place of the accusative as an exception. And from Ibn Abbas: They were not prevented from the heavens, but when Jesus was born, they were prevented from three heavens. When Muhammad was born, they were prevented from all the heavens. A clear shooting star, evident to those who see, weighed with the scale of wisdom, and measured by a measure that is required, in which there is no allowance for increase or decrease, or it has weight and measure in the realms of blessing and benefit. It is said: What is weighed, such as gold, silver, copper, iron, and others, is livelihoods with a clear 'ya', unlike the traits and impurities and similar things, for the explicit 'ya' in them is an error, and the correct form is the hamzah, or to place the 'ya' in between.
And it has been read: 'ma'aayish' with the hamzah for similarity. And 'And whom you are not providing for' is an addition to 'livelihoods', or to the place of 'for you', as if it were said: 'And We have made for you in it livelihoods, and We have made for you from those whom you are not providing for', or: 'And We have made for you livelihoods and for those whom you are not providing for.' And He meant by them the dependents, slaves, and servants who think they are providing for them and are mistaken, for Allah is the Provider, providing for them and for them, and it includes livestock and beasts and everything in that regard, of which Allah is the Provider. They have previously assumed that they are the providers. And it is not permissible for it to be genitive as an addition to the genitive pronoun in 'for you' because it cannot be added to the genitive pronoun.
