That is so he may know from the words of Yusuf. He returned to his words, saying: "And his saying, that is so he may know that I did not betray him in the unseen, is from the words of Yusuf, peace be upon him. The meaning is that this seriousness in the appearance of innocence is to make the Aziz know that I did not betray him in the unseen regarding his honor. The position of 'in the unseen' is the state of the doer. It may be the position of the state or the accusative as a state. (A) It may refer to the state of the doer or the object, meaning: I am absent from him, hidden from his sight, or he is absent from me, hidden from my sight. It may also be an adverbial phrase, meaning in the place of the unseen, which is concealment and hiding behind the seven closed doors. And to know that Allah does not guide the plot of the betrayers; it does not succeed nor is it facilitated. It is as if there is an allusion to his wife regarding her betrayal of her husband's trust, and in it, there is a betrayal of Allah's trust when she assisted her after the signs appeared regarding his imprisonment. It may also be an affirmation of his trustworthiness, and that if he were a betrayer, Allah would not have guided his plot nor facilitated it.
