Commentary

And to Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth. Nothing is hidden from Him of what occurs in them. So, your deeds are not hidden from Him, and to Him returns the command entirely. So, it is necessary that their matter and your matter return to Him, and He will take vengeance for you against them. So, worship Him and put your trust in Him, for He is enough for you and your guardian. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do. And it was recited: 'you do' with the feminine pronoun: meaning you and they, emphasizing the addressee.

From the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace be upon him: Whoever recites Surah Hud will be given ten good deeds for every person who believed in Noah and for every person who disbelieved in him, as well as for Hud, Salih, Shu'ayb, Lut, Ibrahim, and Musa. And on the Day of Resurrection, he will be among the happy ones, if Allah wills. This [narration] has been previously mentioned in Al-Imran and will come at the end of the book.
