Commentary
Then he returned to reminding about patience after what has come as a conclusion to the reminder. This return is due to the virtue of its specificity and distinction, and a notification of the place of patience and its significance. It is as if he said: And you should focus on what is more important than what I have reminded you of and more deserving of recommendation, which is patience in obeying what you have been commanded and refraining from what you have been forbidden. Nothing of it is complete except through it. For indeed, Allah does not waste the reward of the doers of good. He has come with what encompasses uprightness, establishing prayers, refraining from tyranny, leaning towards the oppressors, patience, and other good deeds.
