Commentary
The truth has come to you, so there remains no excuse for you nor any argument against Allah. Whoever chooses guidance and follows the truth, his choice is of benefit only to himself. And whoever prefers misguidance, he harms only himself. The prepositions 'on' and 'to' indicate the meaning of benefit and harm. All matters are with them after the clarification of the truth and the removal of excuses. And in it is an encouragement to prefer guidance and to reject misguidance. And I am not a guardian over you, nor am I entrusted with your affairs to compel you to what I want. I am only a bearer of good news and a warner.
